Chuck Conners dunked the ball so hard that it shattered the glass on the backboard and it toppled forward on him and the game was delayed an hour before a replacement came.

Coach Butch made copies of the poem "Don't Quit" for the team. He gave each player a copy and asked them what it meant. The officals wanted them on the court and they weren't ready so the refs gave each player a technical foul.

The Vanderbilt fans remembered that a Florida Player Dwayne Schintzius hit a student with a tennis racket. The fans got angry and threw tennis balls in the court trying to hit him. The Vanderbilt coach tried to get them to stop but before he could the referie called a personal foul on the Vanderbilt team because of the fans. Dwayne Schintzius shot the foul shot for the winning basket.

Chris Webber snagged a missed foul shot and brought it upcourt with 11 seconds and he panicked and called a time out but his Wolverines were out of time outs and the ref awarded the ball to the Carolina to win the game.

Guard Fred Brown took the ball to the front and accidently mistook "Carolina's" James Worthy for teamate Eric Smith and passed him the ball to lose the game.

Wiley Peck wanted to show everyone just how hard he could dunk the ball. He slammed the ball so hard it hit him in the face and he was unconscious for two whole minutes.




With less than a minute remaining Margaret McKeon fouled Lisa Ellis. Lisa was not happy with the foul and threw the ball in Margaret's face. She got a technical foul. The game ended before things got out of hand. The Oklahoma coach shook her finger at Lisa and Lisa shoved the coaches finger out of her face. When the player Lisa Allison saw this she was furious. Then she grabbed Ellis and soon everyone was fighting. When the fight was over all they had to show was bruises and broken noses.

Andy Landers Coached the Lady Bulldogs for many years. He was the first person to tell them that their playing stunk. He said as long as your playing stinks you will stink. He would not let them wash their uniforms. Eventually their playing improved so they could wash their uniforms.
